About the company
Our client is a manufacturing company.## Build and maintain full-stack web software used in a production environment, keeping existing applications reliable while shipping new tools. Take responsibility for the uptime of the web platform when issues arise.##

What you'll do
* Maintain and extend a customer-facing web application and ship new features.
* Build internal software that speeds up production workflows.
* Spend regular time on the shop floor gathering feedback from machinists and mechanical engineers.
* Test finished tools with the people who use them and refine them based on their feedback.
* Keep the web platform running, including restoring service quickly when it goes down.## What we're looking for




* Roughly one to three years of professional experience building browser and server software, with recent graduates welcome.
* Experience shipping rough prototypes to users and iterating on their feedback.
* Working knowledge of Node.js.
* Willingness to be on call and take ownership of production uptime.
* A sincere desire to learn how goods are made on the plant floor.
* Bonus points
* Co-op or internship experience.
* Prior work pairing code with hardware or mechanical equipment.
