Apply statistical process control and process modeling as a Senior Metallurgist with Exiro Nickel in Thompson, Manitoba. Relocation is required for this permanent position.

You will support the Concentrator Technical Services Team through process improvements, metallurgical troubleshooting, and operational performance support. The work includes pyrometallurgical operations, data-driven solutions, laboratory testing, and plant-scale programs. A focus on Process Control is preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical guidance to roasting, smelting, converting, and refining operations
- Troubleshoot process challenges with operations and technical teams
- Establish process design criteria for improvement initiatives




- Develop and supervise laboratory and plant-scale test programs
- Apply modeling and simulation tools to evaluate performance

Requirements:

- Engineering degree in metallurgical, chemical, or mineral processing fields
- Process Control focus is preferable
- Minimum five to seven years of similar experience
- Statistical analysis and statistical process control skills
- Microsoft Office and effective communication skills
