The customer is looking for a Senior, hands‐on Azure Platform Engineer with solid platform expertise across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Terraform, GitHub Actions, networking, access management, and platform troubleshooting . The candidate should be capable of operating independently, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and guiding junior members within the customer squad , effectively bridging the technical gap between the customer's senior architect and junior engineers. Mandatory Technical Skills Terraform , including modules and deployment of Azure resources GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD and automated deployments Azure Databricks (ADB) , including clusters, workflows, deployments and platform troubleshooting Azure Data Factory (ADF) , including pipelines and Linked Services Deployment/provisioning of Storage Accounts, ADF and ADB Azure networking and connectivity troubleshooting Disaster Recovery ,



particularly scenarios involving Azure Databricks or other core platform services Connectivity failures between Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Data Factory Identifying missing or failing network/security rules Recovery approach when Azure Databricks or other critical platform components become unavailable Role Boundaries – What the Customer Is NOT Looking For This is not a traditional Infrastructure Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) position . General infrastructure management without strong Azure data-platform experience The Platform Engineer will primarily support the environment used by Data Engineers and Power BI teams , particularly across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Storage and associated Azure services .
