About the Opportunity

- Lead the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, HST, and expense management.
- Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing, reconciliations, payments, collections, and financial reporting.
- Oversee member-related payments, honoraria, employee reimbursements, and vendor di sbursements.
- Maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
- Oversee HST compliance, including tax treatment, reconciliations, filings, and remittances.
- Coordinate audit requirements and ensure supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation are accurate and readily available.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 9–10 accounting professionals, including dedicated AP and AR management.
- Establish clear performance expectations, priorities, accountability, and service standards.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support in resolving complex accounting and operational issues.
- Partner with senior finance leadership and internal business stakeholders to improve service delivery and resolve operational challenges.
- Foster a team-oriented, accountable, and continuous improvement-oriented team environment.
- Lead initiatives to modernize accounting operations, with particular emphasis on AP and AR automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and reduce manual processes.
- Lead the AP workstream of a broader procure-to-pay transformation,



including invoice automation, approval workflows, and payment processing.
- Evaluate ERP capabilities, workflow technologies, and emerging automation solutions.
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to implement technology-driven improvements.

About You

- CPA designation
- Min 10+ years of experience
- People Leaderhip Experience (role oversees a team of 9-10 people)
- Experience overseeing of Accounting Operations including AP and AR , and tax

Salary Range

$130,000 - $140,000/year
