Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, loading purchases, deliveries, inquiries, and product knowledge; collaborate respectfully with Team Members to support a positive work environment and deliver a World Class Customer Experience. Load, unload, receive, inspect, store, and organize building materials, hardware, and other merchandise in the yard and warehouse areas. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently while following workplace safety standards and company procedures. Deliver products to customers as required, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and professionally. Merchandise and maintain yard inventory, ensuring products are properly stored, displayed, signed, and maintained according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the yard, warehouse, and outdoor storage areas; Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, product transfers, and other operational duties as assigned by the Home Centre Manager. Previous customer service, retail, lumber, or building materials experience is considered an asset. Class 5 Driver's License required. Class 3 Driver's License with Air Endorsement is considered an asset. Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset. Commitment to ongoing learning and development within the retail and building products industry. Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including WHMIS, is considered an asset. Home Centre and yard setting requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and repetitive movements.
