We are seeking a reliable and caring Casual Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Substitute to join our team on an on-call basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and are looking for flexible schedule in a supportive childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Support daily routines, including meals, playtime, and rest periods
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and centre policies
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain proper staff-to-child ratios

Qualifications:





- Valid ECE License/Certification (or ECE Assistant certification, if applicable)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and reliability for on-call scheduling

Assets:

- Previous experience in a childcare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development and inclusive practices
