Kings Janitorial II Inc. is a locally owned and operated commercial cleaning company serving Nova Scotia since 1998. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone with strong commercial cleaning experience who enjoys hands-on work, supporting employees, and ensuring high cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete early morning cleaning shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Perform daytime supervisory duties, including site inspections and quality control.
- Train, support, and work alongside cleaning staff.
- Ensure cleaning standards and company procedures are followed.
- Assist with staff coverage and scheduling when needed.
- Operate and troubleshoot commercial cleaning equipment, including auto scrubbers and floor burnishers.
- Complete supply deliveries and monitor site inventory.
- Report site concerns, employee issues, and maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial cleaning experience.
- Experience operating autoscrubbers and floor burnishers.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle (required).
- Availability for early morning shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to complete supervisory responsibilities during daytime hours.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations.
- Comfortable using a mobile app for scheduling, inspections, and reporting.
- Ability to complete a criminal record check.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset. Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Part-time position with a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule.
