Our goal is to take Elise from agentic AI to truly end-to-end autonomous operations, fundamentally transforming how housing operators run their businesses and how residents experience their homes.About The RoleWe are looking for a Property Accountant to ensure accounting integrity across features that touch our clients’ resident ledgers and accounting workflows. You will be the in-house authority on multifamily accounting, helping teams deliver products that interact seamlessly with our client accounting teams and systems.Translate workflows into requirements - Turn real-world accounting cases into clear requirements and acceptance tests; pressure-test features before release Review calculations and language - Validate prorations, allocations, adjustments, and charge/credit logic for accuracy and explainability Lead testing and validation - Develop representative test cases, run UAT with client accountants,



and confirm outputs reconcile to expectations Capture best practices - Distill patterns and edge cases from enterprise customers into durable standards and playbooks Requirements5+ years in multifamily property accounting or controllership at a PMC/owner-operator/REIT (ideally multifamily) Deep knowledge across GL & sub-ledgers, resident ledgers, deposits, and close; Comfortable communicating with client accounting/operations/leasing teams Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week PreferredExperience working in a software / SaaS setting Familiarity with leading multifamily systems and data handoffs Familiarity with AI and/or automation as they relate to accounting workflows That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it.

Job Compensation

RangeThe salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 USD/CAD. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package.
