Job Summary The Technician Specialist supports the reliable operation of technical equipment and systems through inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance. This hands-on role combines computer hardware and networking tasks with mechanical work, using schematics and low-voltage knowledge to identify issues and complete practical solutions.

Duties

- Inspect equipment and systems, diagnose faults, and carry out maintenance using appropriate hand tools.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and basic computer networking components.
- Read schematics to understand system layouts, trace connections, and guide repairs or adjustments.
- Document work performed, note recurring issues, and coordinate follow-up with relevant colleagues.

Qualifications *

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, secure and effective use of hand tools, and the ability to follow schematics while performing maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with computer hardware, computer networking, and low-voltage systems supports the role’s technical duties. Preferred: Related hands-on experience diagnosing equipment or system issues, completing repairs, and communicating findings clearly to colleagues.

Pay: $3,000.00-$5,000.00 per month
