Guelph Manufacturing Group is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker for its midnight shift in Guelph. Join a family-owned automotive manufacturing company with over 60 years of industry experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify progressive and transfer dies.

Diagnose tooling problems and help minimize production downtime.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on stamping dies.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and tooling specifications.

Operate machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and EDM equipment.

Inspect, measure, and adjust tooling using precision measuring instruments.

Identify tooling improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Work with production, maintenance, and engineering to resolve die-related issues.

Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Required Qualifications

Valid Tool & Die Maker trade certification/licence.

At least 4 years of hands-on Tool & Die experience.

Experience repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting stamping dies.

Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.





Robust mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently on the midnight shift.

Availability Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Additional Assets

Progressive die and transfer die experience.

Automotive metal stamping experience.

Overhead crane certification.

Welding, hydraulic, or pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
