Job Summary

As a Truck Driver - Class 1 - Local, you’ll transport containers on local routes, handling loads carefully and supporting reliable deliveries. You’ll coordinate with colleagues to keep shipments moving and provide customers with dependable service.

Responsibilities

- Operate a commercial truck on assigned local routes and follow safe driving practices.
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect freight; use a forklift when appropriate.
- Complete vehicle and load checks, report issues, and keep delivery records accurate.
- Coordinate schedules and delivery updates with dispatch and receiving teams.
- Your impact: Careful handling and timely updates help colleagues plan work and customers receive freight as expected.

Requirements Required:



THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE; Practical commercial driving capability, protected freight handling, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow route and delivery instructions. These skills support dependable local transport and accurate coordination throughout each shift. Preferred: heavy equipment operation, or basic automotive repair is useful for handling varied freight tasks, recognizing equipment concerns, and supporting efficient operations.

Pay: $27.00-$28.00 per hour
