Truck Technician (Heavy Duty, Multi-Brand Fleet) | Monday to Friday Days | Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC Truck and Transport Mechanic Fleet Maintenance Technician Straight Monday to Friday days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no nights and no weekends. Real variety across Peterbilt, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, International and Freightliner. Fewer will hand you a large, multi-brand fleet and trust you to find the real problem, fix it right, and get the truck back on the road.

You'll be joining the maintenance team of one of Canada's largest Canadian-owned transportation and logistics carriers. They run 11 terminals across North America and more than 4,000 trucks, trailers and containers, and they have been doing it for over 50 years.

The schedule is something technicians rarely get: a steady day shift, Monday to Friday, home every evening and every weekend. The company also invests in its people, with training, tuition reimbursement, an RRSP match and annual performance incentives. You'll move between six major OEMs and between PMs and major engine, electrical and drivetrain work, so you keep growing instead of repeating the same repair.

You report directly to the Shop Manager and work hand in hand with the Service Writer, so your diagnosis drives the fix. You'll work side by side with experienced technicians in a team-first shop that runs recognition programs, safety awards and years-of-service awards.

Completing major repairs on chassis, cab, axles, suspension, engine, electrical and drivetrain components.

Supporting

Peterbilt, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, International and Freightliner units. Partnering with the Service Writer and fellow technicians to turn trucks around efficiently, so drivers meet their targets and get home on time. A DEP in heavy road vehicle mechanics, with 5 to 7 years of licensed truck technician experience.

Prior safety inspection experience is an asset. Red Seal certification is a strong advantage, and Red Seal technicians will be given priority. Proven diagnostic skills across engine, electrical and drivetrain systems.

A team player who communicates clearly with the Service Writer and the Shop Manager.
