The VP, Debt Capital Markets plays a critical role in originating, structuring, and executing debt financing transactions for investment grade clients.

Partnering closely with investment banking relationship teams, corporate banking, syndication and sales & trading, the VP advises clients on capital structure, funding strategy, market conditions, and liability management opportunities.Lead day‑to‑day execution of investment grade debt transactions, overseeing financial modeling, debt capacity analysis, market comparables, and investor materials.Develop and maintain senior client relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and other corporate decision-makers, serving as a strategic advisor on capital structure, market conditions, and financing alternatives.Manage cross‑functional coordination with syndicate desks, legal counsel, rating agencies, risk teams, and sales & trading.Uphold risk management, compliance, and governance standards throughout all deal processes.5+ years of investment banking or capital markets experience, preferably with exposure to DCM products.Robust understanding of debt products, capital markets dynamics, and credit analysis.Undergraduate degree required; MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
