Purpose: Lead and support a team of cleaners to ensure quality service delivery on-site. Team Leader contributes to Bissett Cleaning & Janitorial Services’ success by leading staff with the goal to increase the potential for success in efficiency and quality for cleaning locations. Reporting to the Division Manager will offer a critical eye to provide a skilled cleaning job.

This position is responsible for assisting in creating, implementing and executing initiatives that will contribute to the overall improvement of staff performance.

Shedule: Saturday-Sunday 8am-4/5pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Promote team camaraderie, professionalism, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Daily Preparation & Meetings: Prepare for scheduled work at least 15 minutes before the team’s arrival and attend pre-shift meetings.
- Task Assignment & Supervision: Assign duties, supervise Cleaning Technicians, and ensure cleaning schedules and procedures are followed and completed in full.
- Quality Control & Coaching: Conduct scheduled quality-control inspections, track cleaning efficiency and quality, and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and on-the-job training.
- Staff Training & Support: Train and support new Cleaning Technicians and provide relief coverage when required.
- On-Site Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for immediate cleaning, access, or site issues; resolve issues when possible and escalate when necessary.
- Keys & Site Security: Maintain responsibility for assigned keys and ensure properties are secured appropriately.
- Transportation: Provide or coordinate transportation for team members during group cleanings, between office locations,



and when required for work assignments.
- Relief & Schedule Coverage: Provide cleaning coverage during vacation, illness, or schedule changes, working independently whenever practical to maximize efficiency.
- Specialized Cleaning Services: Perform additional services as required, including wall washing, high dusting, light fixture cleaning, interior/exterior window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and floor refinishing.
- Supplies & Inventory: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, maintain inventory levels, and request replenishment as needed.
- Warehouse & Office Upkeep: Maintain warehouse and office cleanliness, including general housekeeping, rug cleaning, rag washing and folding, chemical refilling, equipment maintenance, and inventory organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Take initiative to identify additional cleaning opportunities and improvements that enhance service quality and help differentiate Bissett Cleaning from competitors.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
