Design warehouse simulation engines with Python and discrete-event simulation at Fulfillment IQ in hybrid Toronto, Ontario. Lead a zero-to-one technical build. As Staff Supply Chain Simulation Scientist, you will translate warehouse operations into models and integrate Workbench capabilities into FIQ’s main product. The role combines simulation architecture, product decisions, and team leadership. You will report directly to the Chief Scientist while shaping the simulation vertical.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate warehouse processes into mathematical simulation models
- Select simulation paradigms and tools for operational problems
- Benchmark engine performance across warehouse operations
- Prioritize features and establish technical product roadmaps




- Assemble and lead the simulation engineering team

Requirements:
- Five or more years architecting simulation solutions
- Robust discrete-event simulation and Python experience
- Understanding of warehouse automation, robotics, and material handling
- Hands-on simulation model and framework development experience
- Master’s or PhD, or equivalent hands-on experience Own warehouse simulation architecture, product integration, and technical direction while building Workbench at Fulfillment IQ.
