Lead real-time airport operations at Calgary Airports through critical decision-making, aviation expertise, and calm communication in an on-site shift-work environment. Reporting to the General Manager, Integrated Operations Centre and Capacity Planning, this full-time term manager leads airport operations. The position oversees a busy international airport’s daily performance, supporting safe, secure, effective passenger and aircraft movement. It also works with airlines, government bodies, intelligence agencies, and international organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-of operational performance across the airport
- Make decisions during operational challenges and recovery situations
- Monitor activities, traffic initiatives, and cascading operational impacts
- Lead capacity management and weather planning calls




- Guide airport personnel and activate emergency operations when required

Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in aviation, operations, business, logistics, or related studies
- Seven-plus years navigating complex operational challenges
- Three-plus years directly leading people in matrix environments
- Knowledge of aviation legislation and federal, provincial, and municipal requirements
