At Skeena Gold + Silver, coordinate drilling and blasting plans, contractor activities, and blast optimization at the Eskay Creek mine. This site-based specialist reports to the Mine Manager and supports alignment with mine plans, production targets, and geotechnical requirements. Key technical areas include drilling accuracy, fragmentation, wall control, powder factor, vibration, and explosives management. The position works across multidisciplinary teams while supporting regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short
- and medium-term blasting plans
- Incorporate geological, grade-control, and geotechnical information
- Review designs, drilling programs, and sequencing plans
- Optimize powder factor, fragmentation,



vibration, and cost per tonne
- Support electronic detonators, GPS drilling, and data analytics

Requirements:
- At least 10 years’ open-pit hard-rock operations experience
- Valid British Columbia Blasting Ticket
- Technical knowledge of multiple drilling methods
- Electronic and non-electronic initiation systems experience
- Reverse circulation drilling experience considered an asset Bring planning expertise, technical drilling knowledge, and optimization skills to Skeena’s Eskay Creek revitalization project.
