You will assess global macroeconomic, policy, and market developments, then translate findings into investment insights. Your work will support portfolio teams and currency-focused decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce frequent, timely macroeconomic research and recommendations
- Assess global policy, market developments, risks, and opportunities
- Develop decision-ready analysis for portfolio managers
- Apply econometric and quantitative tools to test ideas




- Communicate research conclusions with clarity and conviction

Requirements:
- At least seven years producing macroeconomic or market analysis
- Robust understanding of central banking, currencies, and capital markets
- Proficiency with Python and Power BI
- Master’s degree in economics or related field
- Eligibility for registration with relevant Canadian securities commissions Bring currency research, quantitative tools, and strategic judgment to CIBC’s Toronto-based Global Research team.
