Lead drilling crews with safety as the first priority through HSE compliance, risk assessments, and emergency response. Manage rig operations while protecting personnel and the public. This Rig Manager directs day-to-day activities and reports to the Field Superintendent. Responsibilities include enforcing company policies, government regulations, OH&S; requirements, blow-out prevention procedures, and HSEMS standards. The position requires strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and previous drilling rig experience as a Rig Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure personnel and public safety during rig operations
- Review risk assessments before work begins
- Communicate hazards, controls, and required precautions




- Validate safety equipment maintenance and operating condition
- Enforce PPE, HSE, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Rig Manager position
- Robust leadership abilities in decisions and planning
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing Bring drilling experience and decisive safety leadership to HSE compliance, risk control, and crew supervision on the rig.
