ABOUT THE ROLE
Planitar is looking for a Senior Business Applications Analyst to bring ownership ofourbusiness platforms into IT, and to fix the processes that run on them as part of eachmove. Our CRM, telephony, HR, finance and collaboration platforms are administeredtoday by subject-matter experts inside each department. That worked while we weresmall. At around 120 people, process knowledge lives in individual heads, configuration drifts, and nobody is looking across systems at how work actually flowsend to end. This is a hands-on,

Waterloo-based hybrid role reporting to the Senior Manager, IT &InfoSec.; You will be the entire business applications function, working directly witheveryone from the VP, Finance to the people doing the work. The first big test is order-to-cash: we are moving our finance platform onto NetSuite as part of joiningREA Group, and the hard part is upstream — how we price, discount and package ourproduct, and how those variations flow from CRM through billing into finance. This isnot a product or software development role. Our internal platforms are bought ratherthan built, so the work is process design, configuration and integration. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the move of business application ownership from departmentalsubject-matter experts into IT, one platform at a time: discovery, processreview, target-state agreement, reconfiguration, documentation, training andcredential handover, then take over day-to-day administration.
- Map current-state processes across sales, marketing, finance, peopleoperations and support, find where the process itself is the problem, and agreea better way of working with the people who do it before changing anything.
- Get our order-to-cash data ready for automation: map how a sale moves fromquote to cash, agree how price variations are represented across systems, andown the product, pricing and customer reference data that NetSuite dependson, removing manual corrections at source rather than rebuilding them insideintegrations.

- Design and build automation and cross-system integrations using nativetooling, connectors and low-code platforms, managing change through testing, documentation and sandbox environments.
- Establish the operating model where IT owns the platform layer and thebusiness keeps named process ownership, and hold that line rather thanquietly absorbing everything.
- Own build-vs-buy decisions for internal capability needs, and run the internalapplication pipeline so tools built with Claude are specified, reviewed, ownedand safe.
- Act as the single intake point for business application requests, maintain aprioritized backlog with department leads, and provide tier-3 support.
- Keep the SaaS inventory, SSO/SCIM coverage via Entra ID,joiner/mover/leaver processes and SOC 2 evidence current across transitionedapplications, and own renewal and licence right-sizing decisions. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years as the hands-on administrator of one or more business SaaSplatforms. You have owned the admin console, not supervised someone whodid.
- Demonstrated business process improvement experience. You can walk usthrough a process you mapped, redesigned and implemented, and tell us whatmeasurably changed.
- Experience untangling a quote-to-cash or order-to-billing process, includinghow a pricing decision made in a CRM becomes a line on an invoice and anentry in the ledger.
- Robust structural and logical reasoning. You can design a permissions model, map fields between two systems, or build multi-branch conditional automationand explain why you designed it that way.
- Practical integration experience using native connectors and low-code tooling(Zapier, Make, Workato, Power Automate or equivalent), and workingknowledge of SSO
