Lead percentage-of-completion accounting and month-end close for RESA Power, supporting accurate reporting and project profitability. This is an onsite, hands-on environment. The Senior Accountant reports to the Regional Controller
- Systems and maintains records for assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities. The position leads close processes, addresses technical accounting matters, and supports revenue recognition. It partners with operations and project managers on budgets, costs, billings, margins, forecasts, and contract profitability. The role also maintains internal controls and supports process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual onsite close processes
- Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations




- Support percentage-of-completion calculations and revenue recognition
- Monitor project costs, budgets, billings, and margins
- Explain variances between actual results and forecasts

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with five years’ experience
- Solid technical accounting knowledge under GAAP
- Prior percentage-of-completion accounting experience considered an asset
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Apply technical accounting, POC expertise, and project analysis to strengthen RESA Power’s reporting and profitability.
