Shape Canadian brokerage operations through clearing, settlement, custody, and automation expertise at Alpaca, serving a global financial infrastructure platform.

As a Senior Brokerage Operations Associate, you will translate CIRO-aligned dealer, clearing, and custody requirements into scalable workflows. You will support account servicing, trade lifecycles, registered accounts, tax operations, and controls. Your documentation will guide Product, Engineering, Compliance, and global Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design account, trade, custody, and cash processes for ACCC
- Define partner-broker responsibilities as operational volume grows
- Automate settlement exceptions, reconciliations, and corporate-action processing
- Document runbooks, controls, escalations, and vendor interfaces




- Prepare registered-account and tax workflows for launch

Requirements:
- 10+ years supporting Canadian brokerage operations
- Experience with CIRO-regulated or Canadian-market operations
- Fluency in clearing, settlement, custody, CDS or CDSX, and fails
- Depth in at least two specified operational disciplines
- Exceptional written communication for SOPs and decision logs
