Helicopter piloting and aviation readiness define this full time Pilot position at STARS’ Winnipeg Base. Support critical medical care across the community. Working in STARS’ Aviation department, the Pilot safely operates STARS aircraft while maintaining medical certification and operational readiness. The position requires helicopter experience, instrument and night qualifications, and ongoing proficiency across aircraft, regulations, publications, training standards, and licensing requirements. Day and night shifts support 24/7/365 patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively pilot STARS aircraft
- Maintain a Category 1 aviation medical
- Maintain currency across aircraft flown and regulations

Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Rotary Wing Licence
- Minimum 500 helicopter hours, including 300 pilot-in-command hours
- Minimum 25 hours of night or IFR experience
- Minimum 10 hours of multi-engine helicopter experience
- Group 4 Instrument and Helicopter Night Ratings required Bring helicopter experience, aviation discipline, and current qualifications to STARS’ Winnipeg Pilot team supporting critical patient care missions.
