Strengthen Interac’s production reliability through AWS site reliability engineering, automated recovery, and evidence-based operational readiness across payment workloads. This Senior Cloud Operations Specialist provides hands-on engineering for resilient, supportable AWS environments. You will define recovery objectives, develop self-healing automation, improve monitoring and tracing, and troubleshoot complex production incidents. The position partners across Cloud Operations, Architecture, Security, Cloud Platforms, DevOps, Risk, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Define RTO, RPO, recovery strategies, and resiliency patterns
- Lead chaos engineering and disaster recovery testing
- Build automated failover, backup validation, and restoration testing
- Track service indicators,



objectives, and error budgets
- Drive root cause analysis and permanent remediation

Requirements:
- Seven or more years in cloud or reliability engineering
- Experience supporting highly available mission-critical services
- Deep AWS platform and Terraform knowledge
- Robust observability, troubleshooting, and automation experience
