Support childbirth care at Oak Valley Health as a Registered Nurse using perinatal assessment, fetal surveillance, and critical thinking skills. Work 12-hour shifts. In the Childbirth and Children’s Centre, you will support families through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. This Registered Nurse role provides single room maternity care within an interprofessional team. Patient and family centred practice, communication, prioritization, and teaching are central to the position.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care
- Promote childbirth as a normal, healthy process
- Support families within single room maternity care
- Apply fetal health surveillance monitoring skills




- Work independently and within an interprofessional team

Requirements:
- Current College of Nurses registration in valuable standing
- At least two years of recent perinatal experience
- Current neonatal resuscitation and BCLS certifications
- Peri-operative experience and excellent physical assessment skills
- Current AWHONN or PPPESO certification expected Bring perinatal nursing expertise, patient centred care, and sound clinical judgment to Oak Valley Health’s childbirth services.
