Shape Intact’s Personal Lines technology strategy with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture in a hybrid model. As Principal, Software Engineering, you will guide the transactional PAS supporting millions of customers and every Personal Lines policy. You will set architecture direction, modernize an in-house platform, and lead delivery end to end. The work spans enterprise integration, secure-by-design engineering, data management, and responsible AI.

Key Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for a scalable, resilient, high-performance PAS
- De-risk migration from legacy while maintaining delivery momentum
- Embed AI across underwriting, pricing, and recommendations
- Drive observability, performance tuning, load testing, and security




- Mentor developers and translate business goals into roadmaps

Requirements:
- 15+ years’ software engineering and enterprise architecture experience
- Deep Java or Spring Boot and up-to-date web front-end proficiency
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms
- Demonstrated enterprise AI integration and lifecycle adoption
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills Use enterprise architecture, Java, AI, and cloud expertise to modernize Intact’s Personal Lines policy platform.
