Salary:
$105,502-125,297 per year Role overview As part of the Learning and Information Technology Division, this role leads the network, security, and compliance functions of the Infrastructure team. The supervisor works with Infrastructure and Information Systems teams to plan, design, implement, and manage infrastructure, security, and compliance programs, and reports to the Manager, Infrastructure Security & Communications. Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and manage the performance of assigned Infrastructure team employees.
- Lead and coordinate complex technology projects, service improvements, and technical staff work.
- Secure and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure, firewalls, network access control, VPN, web filtering, and related security technologies.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Purview eDiscovery and compliance solutions.




- Respond to freedom-of-information, privacy, labour-relations, and legal information search requests in accordance with FOIPPA and district policies.
- Plan, implement, maintain, and monitor security controls for digital assets and processes. Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience managing and supervising technical staff; unionized-environment experience is preferred.
- Advanced hands-on experience with enterprise Microsoft 365, Entra identity and security capabilities, and Purview eDiscovery, legal hold, and compliance solutions.
- Expertise in enterprise firewalls, security policies, network access control, and other network security controls.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and securing enterprise wired, wireless, and wide-area networks.
- Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting, Windows Server administration, VoIP, and project management practices.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours and manage changing priorities.
