Lead teacher development and aviation curriculum support at AOPA’s Frederick, Maryland office, working onsite with educators nationwide. Travel up to 20% supports workshops, meetings, and events. The Senior Manager leads programs supporting teachers, schools, and districts using the AOPA Foundation STEM Aviation Curriculum. This position guides curriculum implementation, educator qualified learning, and customer service. It also coordinates the Teacher Trainer Program and collaborates across curriculum, operations, outreach, and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Support aviation education programs after curriculum onboarding
- Guide teachers through implementation, instruction, engagement, and sustainability
- Develop and distribute educator implementation resources
- Lead teacher trainer selection, training, scheduling,



and evaluation
- Coordinate curriculum quality assurance and Symposium support

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Seven or more years in education or related program work
- Experience supporting teachers, administrators, districts, or educational organizations
- Strong facilitation, presentation, consultation, and communication skills
