Lead beverage formulation and commercialization for Temple Lifestyle Brands in Toronto or Montreal, applying fermentation science and sensory expertise. As R&D; & Innovation Manager, you will guide development across Thirsty Buddha®, Rise® Kombucha, private label partnerships, and future platforms. The hands-on mandate spans benchtop formulation, plant trials, scale-up, manufacturing troubleshooting, and post-launch optimization. You will work with Marketing, Commercial, Production, Brewing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation across existing brands, renovations, and new beverage platforms
- Manage development from concept through commercialization and optimization
- Design plant trials and scale-up protocols for production
- Evaluate sensory performance, stability, functionality,



and shelf life
- Improve fermentation, yield, throughput, consistency, quality, and cost

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline
- Seven or more years in beverage or food R&D;
- Manufacturing experience from formulation through full-scale production
- Knowledge of beverage processing, fermentation, and ingredient functionality
- Solid sensory evaluation, documentation, and troubleshooting skills Bring scientific leadership, product development expertise, and manufacturing experience to Temple’s functional beverage innovation pipeline.
