Advise on health policy and legislation with the Government of Yukon in Whitehorse, supporting strategic planning and intergovernmental work. As Senior Policy Advisor, you will provide strategic advice on health and social services issues. You will research policy options, recommend program and statutory approaches, and support implementation. The position also leads major legislative development projects and works with federal, provincial, territorial, and First Nations governments.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop Cabinet, committee, and Management Board submissions
- Manage legislative agendas and legislation-related work
- Lead major consultations and negotiations, including with First Nations
- Develop major strategies and plans




- Represent Health and Social Services in government work

Requirements:
- Recent extensive experience developing government policy options
- Experience representing organizational interests
- Solid project management and independent work skills
- Ability to establish partnerships across diverse interests
- Awareness of Yukon health and social issues Bring strategic policy research, legislative development, and partnership-building experience to Health and Social Services in Whitehorse.
