Grow with us, H2O+U. Your Opportunity We are seeking a Skilled Engineer who has built the majority of their career around hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and wants to continue developing as a technical specialist in urban water systems. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in wastewater and stormwater collection systems, potable water distribution systems, or a combination of these areas. This is a modelling-focused role for someone who enjoys developing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and applying models to solve practical infrastructure planning and operational challenges. Our team collaborates on projects across Canada and North America for municipal, regional, and other public
- and private-sector clients. As part of the Urban Water Resources Water Delivery Team, you will contribute to the assessment and management of sanitary, stormwater, combined sewer, drainage, and water distribution systems. You will work with experienced modellers and project leaders, provide specialized modelling support to teams across the company, and take on increasing responsibility for technical delivery, quality, and mentorship while remaining actively involved in hands‑on modelling. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to hydraulic and hydrologic modelling assignments for wastewater, stormwater, combined sewer, drainage,

and potable water systems.
- Develop, calibrate, validate, troubleshoot, maintain, and document hydraulic models using monitoring, GIS, SCADA, rainfall, operational, and other available system data.
- Assess existing-system capacity, performance, level of service, wet‑weather response, flood risk, servicing constraints, and operational issues.
- Develop and evaluate future growth, climate, operational, infrastructure, and remedial scenarios to support master planning, servicing studies, capital planning, and system optimization.
- Interpret model results, identify limitations and uncertainties, and translate technical findings into practical recommendations for clients and project teams.
- Prepare clear technical reports, memoranda, design briefs, presentations, figures, and model documentation.
