Use Python, SQL, PowerBI, and geological software to improve data workflows at Greenstone Mine, with field and office work on a rotational schedule. Project Geologist II supports Equinox Gold’s Geology Department at its flagship open-pit gold operation in Geraldton. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will develop data visualization tools, strengthen database management, and support reconciliation and quality control. You will also provide relief mine geology coverage when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Build dashboards, custom reports, and reconciliation tools
- Improve geological database management and data validation workflows
- Maintain QA/QC standards for blanks, standards, and duplicates
- Investigate data quality, sampling, safety, and operational issues




- Provide senior-level support during staffing shortages and peak workloads

Requirements:
- Three years of open-pit mining geology experience
- Solid computer, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, PowerBI, Python, and SQL
- Proficiency with Leapfrog, Datamine, Deswik, QGIS, and related software
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related discipline Strengthen geological information systems, reconciliation, and reporting as a Project Geologist II supporting Greenstone Mine operations.
