Lead strategic human resources partnerships at Alberta Pension Services Corporation, guiding people programs, labour relations, and operational service delivery. This senior leadership role is based in Alberta. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development, the Director serves on APS’s Senior Management Team. You will lead two Managers and approximately 12 team members across business partnerships, talent acquisition, people insights, total rewards, pay, benefits, and well-being. The work aligns people services with strategic priorities and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to organization-wide initiatives advancing APS’s strategic plan
- Oversee workforce planning, employee relations, and labour relations advisory services
- Lead labour strategy, collective bargaining, union relations, and grievances




- Oversee talent acquisition, selection, onboarding, and internal promotion
- Guide people programs, services, and operational integration

Requirements:
- Degree in human resources, business, commerce, or related field
- Progressive senior HR leadership and team leadership experience
- Robust employee relations, labour relations, and HR operations knowledge
- Knowledge of compensation, payroll, HRIS, and talent acquisition
- Ability to influence decisions and manage sensitive issues discreetly Shape APS’s people strategy through trusted partnerships, labour expertise, operational leadership, and thoughtful human resources service delivery.
