Infrastructure / Network Transformation Project Manager We are Systematix and we are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Network Transformation Project Manager to lead enterprise network consolidation and technology rollout initiatives for one of our global Life Sciences and Technology partners. ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is a global leader in life sciences and technology, operating across a complex, geographically distributed enterprise environment with multiple business units, sites, and technology platforms. As part of an ongoing Network Services Consolidation program, the organization is working to standardize and modernize network infrastructure and security services across its global operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of delivering established network transformation initiatives, beginning with a large-scale Zscaler rollout to onboard business units that have not yet transitioned to the enterprise service. Following this initial priority, the Project Manager will lead additional network consolidation and standardization projects as they progress into delivery. The projects have already been scoped, so the emphasis is on hands-on project execution, stakeholder coordination, dependency management, and driving successful delivery, rather than initial project definition or strategy development. This role requires a strong infrastructure and network transformation background, with the technical understanding necessary to work effectively with Network Architects, Engineers, Cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise network transformation, consolidation, and standardization initiatives.
- Take ownership of an established Network Services Consolidation workstream,
ensuring projects progress efficiently from planning through implementation and operational handover.
- Drive the rollout of Zscaler enterprise services across business units and locations that have not yet completed their transition.
- Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate business-unit and site readiness activities, including technical preparation, stakeholder engagement, testing, cutover planning, and onboarding.
- Manage large-scale technology deployments and migrations across multiple business units, countries, and sites.
- Work closely with Network Architects and Engineers to understand technical requirements, implementation approaches, and delivery dependencies.
- Coordinate activities across central IT, business-unit IT, Network Engineering, Information Security, Infrastructure, and third-party service providers.
- Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
- Maintain project governance, including RAID logs, status reporting, action tracking, and stakeholder communications.
- Facilitate project meetings, technical discussions, readiness reviews, and implementation planning sessions.
- Manage vendor and third-party supplier activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress against agreed schedules, scope, and delivery objectives.
- Escalate critical issues and drive timely decisions to maintain project momentum.
- Coordinate implementation, cutover, post-deployment stabilization, and transition to operational support teams.
- Support subsequent network consolidation and standardization projects as they move into delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve deployment consistency, operational readiness, and repeatable implementation practices across the enterprise. ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
- Significant experience managing complex IT infrastructure and network transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise network consolidation, standardization, or modernization initiatives.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology rollouts and migrations across multiple business units, countries, or sites.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking and network security technologies.
- Experience coordinating site readiness, technical implementation, migration planning, cutover, onboarding, and operational transition activities.
- Ability to work credibly and effectively with Network Architects, Network Engineers, Cybersecurity professionals, and infrastructure teams.
- Strong project delivery planning, scheduling, dependency management, and execution capabilities.
- Extensive experience managing project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors, suppliers, and external technology partners.
- Ability to manage complex projects within geographically distributed and highly matrixed organizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify delivery obstacles
