Lead municipal supply chain management for the City of Nanaimo, guiding procurement, inventory control, and asset disposal across the organization. This permanent full-time Manager, Supply Chain Management position reports to the Director, Finance. You will lead the Supply Chain Management team and provide strategic advice on procurement, warehousing, contract management, and asset disposal. The work supports municipal objectives through compliant, value-driven acquisition and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the City’s supply chain function
- Guide procurement, inventory, and warehousing activities
- Provide strategic advice on contract management matters
- Promote procurement best practices and continuous improvement




- Build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, commerce, or related discipline
- Skilled certification from a recognized Supply Chain Institution
- At least five years of progressively responsible related experience
- Management or supervisory experience, preferably in public-sector procurement
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence Bring supply chain leadership, procurement expertise, and independent judgment to municipal operations with the City of Nanaimo.
