Lead hands-on QA automation with SQL and API testing at First Canadian’s on-site Sherwood Park location. Improve software quality independently. The Senior QA Analyst reports to the Quality Assurance Manager within Business Systems. You will enhance automation frameworks, test web and mobile applications, and investigate defects using SQL. The work includes risk-based planning, exploratory testing, and transparent communication with technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Assess and enhance reusable automation frameworks Develop automated API tests and validate data with SQL Create risk-based test strategies and plans Track defects and validate development fixes Recommend release readiness using evidence-based risk analysis Requirements:

Five-plus years of software quality assurance experience At least three years of hands-on test automation Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Automated testing experience across web and mobile applications Strong SQL, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Bring senior QA automation expertise, API testing, SQL validation, and independent delivery to First Canadian’s Business Systems team.
