JOB DESCRIPTION:

HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a Wash Bay Attendant on behalf of our client, Equinox Gold, Valentine Gold Mine. The ideal candidate would have a high school diploma or equivalent; or a considerable amount of experience in a similar role.

Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, the Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for washing mining equipment, parts, and components while maintaining the wash bay.

This position is located at the Mine site, working on a 14 days in/14 days out rotation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Be a courageous health, safety, and environment advocate, adhere to and promote health, safety and environmental standards, policies and procedures.
- Wash mining equipment, parts, and components.
- Perform routine and daily inspections of the work area and applicable equipment.
- Complete work orders as assigned and track the completion of tasks.
- Manage wash bay cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wash bay equipment, shop, and work areas.
- Skid steer operation for cleanup, training would be provided if necessary.
- Wash truck operation as needed, training would be provided if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:





- High school diploma or equivalent; or a considerable amount of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an industrial/mining environment is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ATTRIBUTES:

- Proven commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Ability to work in a safety-oriented, rapid-paced, cross-cultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of the OHS, mining, and construction regulations.
- Excellent communication (oral/written) skills required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Strong team building skills.
