Job Title : Collections Analyst

Reporting to : Portfolio Manager

Arundel Capital is a fast-growing asset-based lending company, and we are seeking a motivated Collections Analyst who is eager to grow their career with us. This full-time position located in the Calgary office contributes to Arundel’s overall corporate objectives through the timely and qualified collection of past due accounts.

Responsibilities : Customer Service and Collections

- Connect with customers on past due accounts weekly.
- Document calls in LeasePlus.
- Implement a payment plan or begin seizure process for leases more than two payments behind or over 60 days old.
- Reply to all lease inquiries/calls from customers.

Administration

- Reconcile accounts.
- Prepare demand letters and voluntary surrenders.
- Additional ad hoc duties as required.

Seized / Surrendered Equipment

- Prepare bailiff packages.
- Thoroughly review leases to provide detailed information to the bailiff.




- Communicate with bailiffs weekly to provide instructions and updates.
- Complete proof of claims and engage trustees in the location of equipment.

Legal

- Prepare packages for lawyers or collection agencies.
- Engage with lawyers to provide regular status updates.

Requirements :

- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly analytical problem-solver who takes initiative.
- Highly organized: able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Asset

- 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Aspire and LeasePlus.

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
