Job Summary

Duties

- frequent lifting of heavy cases of wine
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding wine products.
- Conduct product demos and educate customers about different wines, pairing suggestions, and tasting notes.
- Assist customers in making selections based on their preferences and needs.
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and receipts.
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the wine shop is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with merchandising efforts.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Skills

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering,
