Job Summary

We are a premium plant-based company preparing for upcoming project launches in Vancouver. We are seeking one experienced Vegan Baker AND one Vegan Chocolatier for a different project who currently have active access to a registered commercial kitchen space in the City of Vancouver.

This project involves executing a high-quality sample run of vegan cakes and filled vegan chocolates ahead of our planned June drops. These are independent contract roles perfect for skilled professionals looking to utilize downtime in their commercial kitchen for additional revenue. You MUST have access to a commercial kitchen to apply.

Compensation & Qualifications Note

Please note :We are highly open to a higher hourly rate or a flat project bonus for an experienced professional with a proven track record and fast output who makes delicious vegan cakes or filled vegan chocolates.

Important Note : You only need one of these skill sets to apply—either cake baking or chocolate work. You do not need to do both! We are perfectly happy to hire two different specialists for these separate projects.

Future Outlook :There is potential for ongoing, regular contract work after this initial project.

Responsibilities

Bake premium plant-based cake slabs according to our recipes and ideas or your own.

Ensure consistent quality, texture, and visual presentation across all batches.





Portion and neatly pack slices into boxes, ensuring the slices look visually appealing.

Ensure that the boxes are taken with care by the delivery driver.

Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout the preparation and clean-up process.

Qualifications & Requirements

Access to a commercial kitchen is mandatory.

Robust foundational baking skills (experience with plant-based/vegan baking is a major asset).

Current FoodSafe certification is a must.

Incredible attention to detail—consistency in baking and clean slicing are vital.

Ability to work efficiently and independently to hit production timelines.

Access to a reliable vehicle or transit to the kitchen space is an asset.
