The Grove Home is part of the ARH family and is a 96 bed, recently redeveloped long term care home. We currently have an opportunity for a Permanent Full time Food and Environmental Services Supervisor. This role reports to the Manager of Food & Environmental Services and is responsible for the day to day organization and supervision of activities within the Food and Environmental Services department at the Grove Long Term Care Home.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Supervise day-to-day Food and Environmental Services operations.
- Support scheduling, workflow coordination, and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, infection control, and health & safety standards.
- Assist with menu planning, resident satisfaction initiatives, and nutritional services.
- Coordinate purchasing, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Foster a positive, engaged, and service-focused team environment.

Qualifications:

- Must be a graduate of a Food Service & Nutrition Management Program, recognized by the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
- Must be a current member, in good standing order with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
- Must have a current Food Handler Certificate.
- Must be knowledgeable of PIDAC Standards.
- Previous supervisory experience in Long Term Care preferred (2 years minimum)
- Experience with Point Click Care preferred.
- Experience with purchasing and menu software preferred.
- Must have demonstrated excellence in time management, problem resolution, critical thinking, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated honesty, accountability, respect, and teamwork.
- Experience supervising in a unionized workplace preferred.
- Must be physically capable of carrying out the duties of the position.

Salary range: $59,553.00 to $66,709.50
