Operate shearing, bending, and shaping machines on AGF’s day shift while processing rebar accurately and safely in manufacturing.

This Machine Operator role handles rebar orders from cutting through bending. You will verify bar sizes, grades, and tags while following equipment safety procedures. The work includes inspections, physical material handling, and maintaining clean work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate shearing, bending, and shaping machines
- Cut rebar to specified lengths and required shapes
- Verify bar sizes, grades, and tags for orders
- Inspect machinery, tools, and hazards daily
- Clean work areas using shutdown and lockout procedures

Requirements:

- One to two years’ manufacturing experience in a similar role
- Ability to learn various manufacturing equipment
- Ability to manually lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills are an asset
