About the Role We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of our modelling products at Cohere. In this role, you will design intuitive experiences for complex workflows, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and user needs. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and the ML team, owning the end-to-end design process and acting as a key stakeholder in prioritization and strategy decisions. ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience. - Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform. - You're Likely a Good Fit If You Have - Product Design Experience: You have 4+ years experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes. - You stay current on AI trends and can design interactions that make complex agentic behaviours understandable and controllable for users. - Cross-Functional Partnership: You have a collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, with Engineers to navigate technical constraints and review implementations, and with stakeholders across the organization to align on solutions. - User-Centered Approach: You have a deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data, and direct engagement. You drive research initiatives, translate findings into design decisions, and stay informed on industry trends that shape the product landscape. - Design Excellence: You have a meticulous attention to craft and detail. You're proficient in Figma, build scalable patterns and systems, and consistently elevate the quality of everything you touch. Bonus points for robust visual design skills in typography, layout, colour, and composition. - You document decisions, articulate design rationale to diverse audiences, and create understanding across geographies and disciplines.
