This is clinical and leadership work in the field of medical physics, involving the diagnostics and therapeutic uses of radioactive materials, as well as other radiation sources, and the safety of their environment.

Master of Science degree in Medical or Radiological Physics from a recognized university

Membership in the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM)

Provide clinical medical physics support for radiation oncology services.

Participate in treatment planning, quality assurance, commissioning, and radiation safety activities.

Support advanced treatment techniques including SRS/SRT, SBRT, DIBH, SGRT, and HDR brachytherapy.

Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, engineering technologists, and radiation oncology staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Participate in on-call coverage rotation shared among the physics team.

Contribute to research, development, and innovation initiatives within the department.

Support departmental initiatives, workflow improvements, and implementation of emerging technologies.
