Location: Remote - Canada What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue generation primarily through the acquisition of new clients within their designated territory.
Using your existing network within the mining industry, GeologicAI's market knowledge, and the regional sales strategy, you will identify, nurture, and close new sales opportunities across GeologicAI's product and service portfolio. You will collaborate closely with others on the Business Development, GeoScience, technical, and client services teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, business objectives, and GeologicAI's delivery capabilities.
You have an established network across the mining industries, and you know how to put it to work. You're organized and disciplined about your pipeline, nothing falls through the cracks, and you follow every opportunity through to a clear outcome. You stay on top of what's happening in the market: recent projects, ownership changes, capital plans, and you know how to turn that awareness into a conversation. Deliver Regional Sales and Growth Targets:
Achieve annual sales targets, including revenue and pipeline growth, across your territory
Consistently and actively participate in business systems and planning process linked to the sales CRM and pipeline schedule, maintaining accurate forecasts
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients including new lead generation, in-person and online client engagement (indiviual and multi-team), development of business cases and closing deals
Navigate client procurement processes and lead contract negotiations
Monitor market and competitor activity to inform territory strategy and sales approach
Build the GeologicAI Brand and Network:
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key mining stakeholders, industry influencers,



and partners within your region
Maintain and grow a personal network across the mining industry, staying current on project developments, ownership changes, and other signals of opportunity
Collaborate with GeoScience, Client Services, Product, and Project teams to support customer success and business growth
Support expansion opportunities within existing strategic accounts, where relevant
Travel Requirements
~ Travel is required for this position up to 40% of the time, including client meetings, site visits, and conferences.

8-10+ years of experience in business development or sales, within the mining or related technical software industries, with a demonstrated track record of selling high-value, technical solutions and closing deals

- Established network with mining operators, explorers, or industry stakeholders
- Technically proficient enough to run detailed, credible client demos independently, and to translate complex geoscience and engineering concepts for stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Experience navigating procurement teams and leading contract negotiations
- Proficiency with CRM tools (including Salesforce hygiene and upkeep) and Microsoft tools
- Assets
- Technical background, such as engineering, mining, or geoscience
