Immigration Paralegal (Remote – Canada )

Remote | Contract | CAD $50,000/year | Canada

You'll be a remote paralegal on our U.S. immigration team, working with our attorneys in Florida on investor visas (E-2 and EB-5), TN and L-1 visas, family-based petitions, green cards, and naturalization. Your days are spent building petitions, collecting documents from clients, and making sure every filing is complete and on time.

S. immigration, not Canadian, and you don't need to know it yet. S. immigration petitions and supporting evidence packages for attorney review

Draft cover letters, client correspondence, affidavits, and government forms

Manage your own caseload from document collection through filing

1+ years as a paralegal or law clerk at a law firm, in any practice area, handling your own files from start to finish

- A paralegal or law clerk diploma or certificate, or a college or university degree
- In immigration, one missing signature can get a filing rejected.
- Clear, qualified writing and phone manner
- Living in Canada and available Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm Eastern Time, with a quiet workspace and reliable internet

S. immigration experience, especially investor visas, TN or L-1 visas, family-based petitions, or green cards

Experience with case management software

Experience working remotely with a team

Bilingual

CAD $50,000 a year, paid monthly (about $4,167 a month). This is a contract role: you'll work with us as your own small business, send us one invoice a month in Canadian dollars, and we'll pay it by wire.
