Urban Edge Engineering is a growing structural engineering firm looking for a Structural Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. This is an prospect to work on a diverse range of projects and grow alongside the company. As our team expands, there is an opportunity for the right person to develop into a senior engineering role. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from design through completed drawings, while working with a senior engineer. Structural analysis and FE modeling
Wood, steel, and concrete design
Preparing and managing complete structural drawing sets
Performing site visits and creating field reports to verify construction with the structural design
Taking ownership of the quality of your work
1-3 years of structural engineering experience (consideration will be made for candidates having minimal experience)





- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Registration with EGBC as an EIT or PEng is required
- Valid class 5 BC drivers license is required
- Experience with CAD software
- Experience with FE software (Skyciv, SAP2000, ETABS, RFEM, etc)
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and design standards
- Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in the Abbotsford office and travel to project sites as required
