Cook nutritious meals at SE Health’s assisted living facility in Downtown Vancouver, using menu planning and therapeutic dietary knowledge. This is a full time role.

As Cook III, you will support efficient kitchen operations and provide direction to food service staff and volunteers. You will plan menus, prepare meals, manage supplies, maintain records, and support residents’ nutritional needs. The schedule is 08:00-18:00HR during Week 1: Sunday through Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan menus and recipes for residents’ dietary needs
- Direct staff and volunteers through assignments and training
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and baked items
- Manage inventory, orders, deliveries, and supplier discrepancies
- Maintain sanitary kitchens, equipment, storage, and accurate records

Requirements:

- Recognized 12-month cooking program graduation
- Two years of recent related experience
- Food Safe certification
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise staff and operate related equipment
