Rockstar Recruiting is hiring an experienced Licensed/Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic to join the Maintenance Department of a well-established transportation company in Moncton, NB.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on a contemporary motorcoach and passenger transportation fleet. You will play an important role in ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable, and operational while working alongside a solid, motivated maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on motorcoaches, buses, and related transportation equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engine, brake, electrical, and mechanical systems using various diagnostic tools.
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Install new and aftermarket equipment and components.
- Review inspection reports and complete all required repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and repair documentation.
- Perform welding and cutting when required using arc-welding and flame-cutting equipment.
- Stay current with new vehicle technologies, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team while maintaining minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For





- Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic Certification required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a Truck & Transport Mechanic role; transportation or motorcoach experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and vehicle repairs.
- Knowledge of vehicle heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
- Understanding of applicable government regulations, transportation legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
- Valid driver's license.
