Position Scope:

Safely and efficiently operate tractors and farm machinery to execute daily field operations during the growing season and lead picking crews during harvest seasons. During the off-season, this role transitions to the packing room to support facility operations as a forklift operator and general packing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate tractors, implements, and specialized farm machinery for tasks such as spraying, mowing, planting, and harvesting based on daily task sheets provided by supervisors.




- Field tasks with high precision to ensure tree health, crop safety, and premium fruit quality.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance and ensure machinery is safe to operate.
- Promptly report any mechanical issues, breakdowns, or repair needs to the maintenance team.
- Keep equipment storage areas, shops, and general farm property tidy and organized.
- Operate forklifts safely to move bins, load/unload trucks, and organize pallets. Assist with manual packing room tasks, including stacking boxes, sorting, and general facility upkeep.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

- On-site in an agricultural environment.
- Exposure to external climate conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods is required.

Qualifications & Skills

- High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating equipment (Example: Forklift or Tractor) would be an asset.
- Pesticide Applicator Certificate - Training will be provided.
